NCS Network has augmented our installation and service call policy to continue to service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
What this looks like:
Before we attempt to schedule an installation or service call, you will be contacted and asked a series of COVID-19 risk factor questions to determine the risk factor of coming on your property.
Note: under the quarantine act, it is a federal offense punishable by fines and jail time if these questions are not answered truthfully.
Our technicians will not be entering your home during installation if they are not comfortable- that means the cable from the dish installed outside may have to be brought through a window which you will take through from the installer and you will have to hook up the system box (we refer to as a POE box) and wireless router (airCube) inside on your own. This means you must purchase an airCube from us for installations (one-time fee $65 plus HST) and you must be somewhat comfortable with technology and following directions clearly. We will provide you with a sheet of directions as well as a customer information sheet to create your account with us. You must have access to your email and a computer to proceed with an installation.
If a technician needs to enter your home for a service call or installation, they will be fully masked and adhering to social distancing guidelines. For them to consider entering a home we also ask that you wear a mask in their presence and follow social distancing guidelines. If at any time they feel uncomfortable with the situation they will leave the location immediately and we give them permission to do so even if a job is unfinished, under Occupational health and safety rules.
Our normal fees and policies remain in place.
Installation is $100 plus HST (unless a bucket truck is required which would be an additional $100); monthly services are $59.99 plus HST. You are not under contract, therefore, invoices are due when received. You will receive your first invoice shortly following your installation. Failure to pay invoices may result in late charges and a disruption of services.
Applicable service call fees of $75/hr are still charged under applicable conditions.
